Rethinking resilience

Climate change is having dramatic effects on cities across the world. From cloud bursts and storm floods to heat waves, changing weather is forcing cities to rethink resilience. At the same time rising populations call for new strategies of planning and growing the city in a sustainable and desirable way.

Building more resilient, sustainable and liveable cities happens in the intersection between urban leadership, city government, private actors and local residents. This intersection is also where R|S|L|ENT can contribute to Placemaking Infrastructure with urban design and strategies, co-creation and engagement tools, and training on climate resilient cities.
